How do I download songs on my eclipse mp3 player

Connect the player to your computer using the USB cable that came with the player. The player will show up as a "Removable Drive" in Windows Explorer. If you have songs on your computer (files with .mp3 extension), transfer those to the player using 'Copy/Paste' operations in Windows Explorer or use the Windows Media Player program to transfer them. If you do not have any songs on your computer get some with iTunes.

I threw away the instructions on how to download songs onto a Riptunes MP3 player, and now I need instructions on how to download my songs from my laptop. I have everything I need like all of the necessary...

All I did with mine was created a playlist on Windows Media Player and then plugged in my Riptunes (same model) using the cable that came with the MP3. After the Icon comes up that says your MP3 is on your drive (just the box that shows that you can play from your Media player)- go back into Media Player and press sync. It'll show it moving your music in the right hand corner. When it's done, it'll tell you that you can remove your MP3. You should be good to listen to your music at that point :)

What make and model of MP3 Player do you have?

most MP3 players show up in "My Computer" as removable storage.

Just browse to the device and you will be able to view and remove your songs.

SD card in MP3 player

Was the SD card in the MP3 player when you loaded the songs or did you load them some other way?  You may have to first put the SD card in the MP3 player first, then load the songs onto the player.

Not able to play all songs

some songs may not be in correct format

also, could require a firmware upgrade:

T.sonic cannot operate after it was formatted in Windows
Formatting T.sonic using the “Quick Format” or “Full Format” option in Windows destroys the
default format of the T.sonic. To retrieve the default format, you must link to
http://www.transcendusa.com/ and download the firmware updates for the T.sonic.
