if this is a DELL W3201C read this.
Have the same model and same problem
probably It is a bad inverter board, in my case one of the 16 transformers is burnt out on the inverter board. still trying to find a replacement component. if not replacing the board is the only option or getting the inverter board repaired.
by the way, this TV has a Samsung panel: model LTA320W2-L03. so it needs parts for a Samsong not a DELL.
DELL does not manufacture or fix them becuase they don't make them

Google Allelectronics or Hosfelt Electronics for these caps
I just ordered these at a good price but ordered 35Volt instead.
Also replacing 3300uF caps too as they are bulged at top.
Hope this fixes it. Will let you know.

SOURCE: stripes on screen
This is just a poorly designed TV, it has thermal problems, if you notice there is room for a fan at the top, but they left it out. I have had the power supply die and I fixed it, no help from Niko. I have resolved to let this tv die when it is ready now and move on. An expensive lesson on early adoption of cheap off-brand products.

Tips for a great answer:
Jan 04, 2014 | Samsung LA32C450 32 LCD TV
Jul 07, 2012 | LG 55LH40 55 in. LCD HDTV
Mar 23, 2012 | Televison & Video
I had a similar problem with my 42 in Philips LCD HDTV.
Here was the problem.
My Power Supply Board had several bad capacitors. I opened my TV (warranty was expired of
course) and found four bulged capacitors.
Many electronics companies were sold capacitors that failed in 2-5 years
instead of 10-20. The capacitors fail
prematurely due to a lack of preservatives. Unfortunately, they were installed in all
sorts of devices and cause a wide range of failure problems.
Here are some options for you.
1. Have it fixed by a professional $$$$$$$???????
2. Open your TV and find PSB. Check
for faulty caps. If you find some (bulged
or leaking) bad caps replace the entire board. The entire board costs around $250 right now
because they are in high demand right now.
They can be found at tv-part.com but supplies are limited.
3. Remove and then replace individual faulty caps. This takes some soldering skill.
Caps are inexpensive and if you can take care of it yourself
it will save you hundreds.
I have a tip/tutorial
on this site that may also help. It
gives step by step instructions for replacing caps on PSB #715t2432-2. If this is your board you are in luck. It's called: Fixing the Philips Turns/shuts
off on its own problem. I'm
working on uploading pictures to help guide people though the process as
well. Let me know if I can do anything
Hope this helps and Good luck.
