Craftsman 2550 PSI pressure washer has no pressure

Craftsman 2550 PSI 2.3 gallon pressure washer has no pressure. Worked a while back fine. I hadn't used it in a while and no pressure builds up. I tried backwashing the hose, the end nozzles, everything I could think of. No luck.

Any chance you can give me a little more info on how to do that? Do I remove the pump completely from underneath the motor? What exactly is the coupler that I'm looking for? You say to see if the pump is turning. Does that mean it has to be powered on while I'm checking this meaning I don't take anything apart?

I took the pump off and both the motor and the part that the motor attaches to in the pump spin. I can see absolutely no leaks. I am so lost as to why it's not building pressure.

I don't know how to determine that. The "male" part from the motor that inserts down into the pump part is definitely turning when the motor is running and since the part from the pump does turn by hand, I can't see how the motor wouldn't be turning that part when they are connected. How can I determine that?

Check the pump/ motor coupling to verify pump is turning.

With it off, take the cover off the pump and see if you can turn the pump by hace, or the motor. If it's seized or if the coupling is sheared. If the pump is working and driven by the motor, you would have pressure. It isn't leaking when it's on is it? Spraying all your pressure from a leak?

Ok, you say the motor and the coupling spin, but is the pump spinning when motor is running?

Best to use NON DETERGENT 10W30. Be sure you fill the reservoir only 1/3 to less than 1/2 full.

I have owned four of those units. Every one of them did what you are experiencing or just wouldn't give me any pressure after only a few uses. The company was certainly no help. I gave up after four and bought a heavier gas model from Lowes. Hope this info helps.

No water pressure

There is a injector valve in the water pump that is sticking. Remove this valve, grease the top o-ring and reinstall. Problem solved. Use pump guard in the future to prevent this problem from reoccuring.

Oil stick is stuck

Have you ever checked it before? Do you know if it's a screw on cap? It could be that the cap is slotted, and is only supposed to turn a 1/4 turn. Try not to force it, and use a light touch.

Hope this helps!
