Woofers ans subs should go into woodden boxes for best sound production. As regards the size it depends on the power rating of these speakers.

Down load a program call bass box pro and it's realy easy to use it will ask you what type of box you want then speaker specs after that put in the specs or the size of space you have to put it and it will automatically figure it for you and tell you program is all over the Internet

Hi i have a Chevy Malibu 98 im trying to install kicker DS 650 and i cant get them to fit right. What should i do?

Is the problem the diameter of the speaker or the depth. You may need to purchase ring adaptors. These should be available at the big box electronic stores or you can get them at www.crutchfield.com

if you are having problems with your sound
if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound, video and game controllers you might see a yellow question mark? Right click to reinstall drivers
click start control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers make sure you have selected the
(((appropriate speakers))) also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have the correct settings there
also
click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker volume you can change your settings there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar
if his does not fix the problem

have you tried this control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers select the appropriate speakers from the drop down list or navigate to the device manager scroll to system devices + to expand, system speaker right click properties then select use this device (enable) also you might check
the speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good
try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the sound card and the CPU central processing unit dust causes static to build up in a computer
click start control panel sounds and audio devices select advanced there might be a tick in the mute box untick it or select audio from the microphone drop down list make sure you have the right one selected and in the volume box make sure the microphone box has a tick in it or select the voice tab and make sure that you have the right media selected also select volume make sure the box for microphone has a tick in it
hope this helps

Speakers not working right

First check the easy stuff, wires, plugs green socket...now go to your control panel and double click on sound, down at the bottom you see speaker settings, speaker volume and advanced.
check your speaker volume hear- then click on advance-speaker tab- drop down box -select your set up- (2.1 = two speakers and a sub woofer). And make sure it is correct...then the performance tab- both slides all the way right.
Now if that is all good- uninstall your sound drivers and go to realtek and download the latest drivers for your sound card/or onboard.
If you need help to locate the drivers please provide card number- computer name and model- or the motherboard make and number.
You are using Windows XP-correct?
I hope this helps, please leave a rating.
