Question about D-Link DI-524/DWL-G630 (di524dwlg630kit) Wireless
Changing the channel will only help (possibly) if the computer that the magicjack is hooked into is on the wireless network. If it's hardwired to your network - changing the channel won't matter. That being said, you need to log into your router to change the channel. Most likely, you have the defaul settings - so open up internet explorer and in the address bar, type 192.168.1.1 and click enter - then enter the user id/pw for the router (default is user id "admin" and password is blank) - on the home tab of the wireless section, uncheck "auto select" for channel and set it to 11 (or whatever you'd like) Then save/close and you're done.
If you notice static on the magicjack still after that, then run magicfix from their website - here's the link > http://www.magicjack.com/4/magicfix.asp
good luck - hope this helps!!
