looked at a breakdown for this tool at Searspartsdirect.com and didn't see anything either. I also couldn't find a manual for you. Have you tried putting the blade against a block of wood and then removing the blade? Wish I had better answer for you but also on that site there is a toll free number that you might want to call and see if they have anything to help

I have the same saw with the same problem. lay the saw on it's side. Put a few drops of wd40 around the bolt and spring washer, after a few minutes take a old screw driver and wack the spring washer that is extending out from under the bolt head several times. Lock the blade down with vise grips or a block of wood ,the retaining bold should now brake free when you try to unscrew it.

In the past I have clamped a pair of vice grips on the old blade so I could remove the bolt from the arbor.

How to pull out Bosch CS20 circular saw's armature?

There are several steps:
Remove the base height adjustment lever assembly(#56,57,71,72,73,74)
Remove the lower blade guard (#37)
Remove the brushes (#810)
Remove the upper guard housing (#827)
The armature will usually slide out with the upper guard - once out wiggle the armature out of the guard housing.
Reverse order to reinstall

Hi, am looking for the 2 spacers and the neut that hods the blade on to a 10 inch craftsman radial arm saw and was curious if I could purchase one thank you

contact craftsman manufacturer spares to see if they are available
one washer will have a slot across the back and is the driving washer for the blade
the front washer will be flat and is the clamping washer
most manufacturers use generic products here so check for washers from other 10 " saws ( appliance repair shops , junk yard shops etc)

Saw stopped working. changed brushes. still not working.just dead.blade turns ok.not even a click

These are notorious for burning out armatures.
The replacement process is pretty involved, I would not attempt unless you are comfortable.
Remove the brushes
Remove the 3 Screws hold the motor assy to the saw
Remove the screws holding the motor housing together.
Separate the housing and you should be able to see right away if the armature is burnt (many times the windings actually blow apart)

Often when the armature burns out it also melts the brush holder assy - I would recommend replacing it as well.
If the armature appears fine then I would lean toward the switch. Makita BSS611 18V LXT Lithium Ion 6 1 2 Circular Saw Parts

I bent the depth of cut scale on a Craftsman 7-1/4 in. Circular Saw. How to true it so I can again set correct depths?

With the saw unplugged, lay it upside down on a bench or table. Put a small scrap of 2x4 against the blade and adjust until the depth of the blade matches the thickness of the 2x4. Lock it in place, Then bend or adjust the depth scale so that it reads 1-1/2 inches. Good luck.

I hava a 7 1/4 circular saw model # 5250. The blade broke off and we can't get the bolt loosened enough to replace the blade. Any ideas on how to get bolt off?

If you have no way to prevent the motor from turning when you try to remove the blade bolt, you are going to have to immobilize the armature to get it off. Remove the cap on the motor housing so you can remove or relieve the spring pressure on the brushes. Then remove the motor housing with the field, leaving the armature attached to the blade guard/transmission assembly. Now you can safely hold the armature while turning the blade bolt.

My Craftsman 7&1/4 inch 12 amp Circular Saw(Model 315.108330) slips while cutting. The motor keeps spinning but the saw stops rotating. Can I Fix it?

Most circular 7-1/4 saws have a bolt and a compression washer that acts as a brake shoe that holds the blade secure but under dire circumstances will allow the blade to slip some rather than hold the motor shaft and allow burn out. The compression washer under your bolt has become worn and doesn't grip the blade securely. You can find a split washer that will fit under the blade and give you some more friction, or go to sears and order another compression washer for your saw.In the Sears Parts List found at: http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/part-model/Craftsman-Parts/Saw-Parts/Model-32018780/0247/0744410/50035950/00001?blt=06&prst=&shdMod=

Clean the armature and install new brushes, the armature is burned with carbon and loses its ability to conduct electricity properly. Make sure to in between every copper rib on the armature so it doesn't ground itself back out.
