The Installation CD / Installer software can be had by going online to Microsoft and downloading the appropriate software from their support site.
Once installed, your computer should see/recognize the camera and be able to utilize it. You may have to restart the computer after you install the software.
In addition to the webcam software you may have to download some support software separately. I have a Logitech and it needs Microsoft DirectX 10 to perform correctly. As its a new webcam I suggest you contact Zebtronics from their support website and ask them what the requirements are - you may need SP3 for example
Hi, Plug the camera's USB cord into a free USB port on the computer, if this hasn't been done already. After giving the computer a moment to recognize the camera, a balloon will pop up saying new devices have been found. Insert the web camera's installation CD, and wait for the installer to appear. Click "Next" on each window as needed to install the software. If the installer does not automatically appear upon inserting the disk, open "My Computer", right-click on the CD drive, click "Explore", then open "setup.exe". Launch the web camera software, which can normally be found in the start menu under "All Programs". Test the camera to ensure it is working properly. Good luck! Save a tree.
I have the same model. I enjoyed some 'opportunities' getting it installed and working properly. Start by disconnecting the camera. Since you have downloaded the latest version of the software, uninstall the existing software. Open Device Manager. I image that is where you are seeing the multiple cameras. Right click on each camera and uninstall it. The computer should now be free of cameras and software. Turn the computer off and leave it off for at least 30 seconds. Restart the computer and let it start-up completely. Now install the new software. At the end of the installation you will be prompted to connect the camera and do some configuration.
I found it worked better for me to use a different microphone, but that's optional.
Good luck, and please let me know how it works out for you!
Did you install the software with the camera connected to
the computer? Disconnect the camera from the USB port and reinstall the
software. When the program asks you to connect the camera, do so, and it
should work. Hope this is of some help.Bud
when I have had this happen I unplug camera reboot wait until everything is loaded replug camera in camera is found. If this does not work delete all camera drivers by Start/control panel/system/device manager/right click camera properties delete driver reboot do this with camera disconnected on reboot install drivers ensure they are installed properly system/device manager no yellow mark on it. reboot when system up and running plug camera in this should work
