This tells me something is getting caught usually I would recheck the Paper Tray. If possible you could run the paper through the Bypass or Tray One as HP would call it. See if it is happening there if so then you can eliminate the Cassette Trayi

Also Did you run any lables through this Printer ??

Well then the next step is to Physically run paper through this printer manually , Which means I would like you to remove the Paper Tray, the tomer ctg,and what I would like you to do is Physically ( by Hand) push the paper in the direction of the paper path from the tray and up to the registration roller. to make sure nothing is stuck there. ( DO NOT TOUCH THE FOAMY ROLLER WITH YOUR HANDS ) the "OIL" from your hands could ruin it before you get dirty copies or poor copy quaility then you may have to replace it. If you notice nothing getting stuck then chances are your fuser is causing the folding of the paper and will need replacing.

if you do not see anything then chances are you have a Bad Picker on your fuser so I would replace the Fuser.

HP LaserJet 1320 folds over top left corner of every page printed

I see this problem alot after a paper jam occurs and someone has pulled the stuck paper out. There is probably a piece of paper stuck in the printer somwhere. If you open the front toner door and take the cartridge out, you will see a roller at the bottom front. DON"T touch the roller but take it out. You may find the paper there!

Check carefully for any small scraps of paper caught in the paper path. Do a 1/2 way test, do a print job, listen for the paper to get just under the toner then quickly open the front of the printer (may take a few tries) see if the paper is folded there or if it's happening later that way. If it is folded before entering the fuser, you probably have a small piece of paper in the paper chute somewhere. If it's not and folds later, the fuser is probably worn badly.

teflon coating on heat roller in fuser is coming apart. replace the fuser. also check to make sure the paper tray is set to the correct size. this means pull the tray out, remove all paper, look inside to make sure the arrow is pointing directly at the correct media size you are using i.e. letter or legal or whatever you are using. Good Luck! please rate this carefully.

It could be either the paper feed assembly, part # RM1-0012, or the registration assembly, part #RM1-1098. These parts can be bought at TSAworld, phone # 1-800-633-6626

Quality of printing

For the black line check the toner cartridge roller (usually covered by a movable flap) to see if there is a black line on it. If not, then check the transfer belt (looks similar to a conveyor belt) for a line (probably not black in color, possibly white or grayish). If either of these parts have a line your best option is to replace that part. You could try cleaning VERY gently with a dry lint-free cloth but this may only clear up a little of the issue.

As for the fold, try running a paper path test, usually found under test, information, or diagnostic menu option on the printer itself. Try to find anything in the paper path that may catch the paper and cause it to fold.

Hope this helps!

HP Color Laserjet 3500 printer - no black on left side of page

The folded paper solution for for me. Thanks to all for sharing!!!!

I had the same problem. No black or cyan on the left side of the pages. From this advice... I folded a stack of 4 pieces of paper in half and then half again. I took out the transfer unit and put the folded paper in the upper left corner and then put the transfer unit back in. WORKS BEAUTIFULLY! Thanks you all sooooo... much!
