Question about iRobot Roomba 560 Robotic Vacuum

Roomba circles My Roomba circles for a few minutes, then beeps 9 times and stops. A red exclamation mark appears on the left hand side of the controls. If you persist in restarting it, eventually I have been asked to clear Roombas wheels. As far as I can see, there isn't anything blocking the wheels.

Yes, this is known issue and if your bumper moves freely, you might be facing a sensor fault caused by poor quality of components.
Here is a guide to fix it

The Romba may be complaining about the wheel drop sensors rather than the wheels being blocked. To be thorough clean the 4 cliff sensors, the bump switch, the caster, caster axle, caster roattion sensor, and remove and vacuum or blow the dirt out of the left and right wheel assemblies to resovle the problem.

Hey

Please look for other same problem posted here ;-)

You are probably facing a bumper sensor issue.
Try to clean the bumper first and if this goes on, either call iRobot service, or
take a look at this page for the step by step 9 beep fix.

My fully charged Roomba 560 just moves a few inches, cleans spins in a circle then stops and a red exclamation point appears. (I've misplaced the manual help !

You have dead nimh (nickle metal hydride) batteries
You will need a replacement. You can test for this by removing the battery and holding the power button for 15 seconds. This will restart the charging cycle as if the battery were new.

My roomba 530 runs in a circle and does not move forward. After 2 minutes it stops with 11 beeps and a flashing red light to the left of the power button. It has no clicking noise. Does anyone know what is...

Hey'
This means Roomba is not registering obstacles. Roomba may be stuck in one place.
Roomba may be in extremely large room, try setting up virtual walls to create smaller area.
If Roomba is not in a large room, tap Roomba's bumper to confirm it is properly working.

Hope this helps

Backs up spins in circles, then red light flashes and beeps

Sounds like either the battery is bad or not being charged properly with subsequent loss of programming.

Red sensor

If your Roomba's red "check robot" light comes on, the Roomba should also give a hi-lo warning tone, then a number of beeps. Check the number of beeps with the chart toward the end of your manual-- it should tell you what to do.

Spins, stops and can't find dock

The problem is your Roomba's bumper. Tap it with your hand about a dozen times, blow it out with compressed air, and then try running the Roomba. If the same thing occurs, call support at 1-877-855-8593. (Be sure to have the Roomba with you when you call.)

Roomba red 4100 cleans in small circle stops starts agains cleans small circle stops then status light comes on and clean button blinks.

When the status light comes on, the Roomba is going to sing "uh-oh," and then beep a number of times. Count the beeps. They're a code that tells you what's wrong with the Roomba. You can check iRobot's website for a chart of beep codes. Search "What is Roomba saying to me?" on the troubleshooting page.
