How can I remove the main hose?

Hi Jim, it's Jack at Dyson.

I'm not clear from your question whether you want to remove the hose from your DC33 to vacuum with it, or to detach it completely to check for blockages or to replace it with a new hose.

To remove the hose for use, first extend the wand, then press the release catch on the wand:

To remove the hose completely - if you're planning to replace it with a new one, or if you're checking for a blockage - just remove the clear bin and cyclone, and press the release catch shown below:

I hope this helps. If you need any further guidance, just give the Dyson Customer Helpline a call on 1-866-693-9766 (US), 1-877-397-6622 (CA) 1800 239 766 (AU), or 0800 298 0298 (UK).

Kreepy moves around only in the deep end of the pool?

pool cleaners that move only to sections of the pool can be influenced by a few things :
1 = hose length ! it does take 1/3 more hose to go the length of pool for auto cleaners
2= hose memory ! hoses tend to get bends in them and tend over time to get a memory in the plastic so they allways say go right or left never straight ,stretching them out in sun helps , but new hoses are sometimes needed
3= depth adjustments ,pool cleaners have floats inside them that makes them have a neutral buoyancy , this is needed as the drive system (tractor treads in your case) needs this 4 traction on pool bottom -too much or not enough wont allow drive to pull hose thru water

Windshield wiper hose leak

Yes..
Remove the cracked hose and take it to parts store and buy a new hose get it about 1 inch longer than old one. Replace 1 end and put hose back in clips and measure how much you need to connect on the end and cut excess off put hose on fitting. This should have water flow agaig and no cracked hose.

Replacing pullout metal spray hose on tub faucet

In order to replace the hose on the 06438000 you will need access to the hose below deck. You will need to disconnect the hose from the connection below the tub deck and then you will be able to pull the hose through the fixation in the tub deck. Then you can pull the new hose back through the fixation in the deck and reconnect below. For further information feel free to call Hansgrohe Tech at 1-800-334-0455.

Need to know how to fix a hose to fuel pump been cut

You can either buy an entirely new hose and replace the whole thing, or do what I did in the same situation. Go to a parts store and ask for the fitting that connects the hose to the pump. You will have to heat up the hose in order to slide the new end on because is is designed to be extremely tight for obvious reasons. The hoses that go from the top of the pump out into the rest of the car can usually be had brand new for around 20 - 40 bucks. The connector is less than 5 bucks.

How to repair leaking fuel lines under the tank

Okay, prepare to get some gas on you. You need to drain the gas
You'll need:

1 pair hemostats or hose pincher
1 pair of wire cutters
1 screwdriver phillips or flat head
1 nut driver 1/4 inch or 5/16 inch
New fuel line. (cut 1 two inch piece and put the bolt in one end making a plug) = 2 inch plug
Hose clamps.
1 Bolt that will fit inside fuel line.(make line plug)

Pinch either side of the fuel line with hemostats. Cut the factory clamp off and pull the hose off. Put the 2 inch plug on the tank, and that will stop the gas from coming out. put a hose clamp on it if you want so it don't leak.
Now put a gas can under the pinched line and unpinch it and let the gas drain out of that tank.
When done draining , cut that hose off the tank and put it on the other side where that plug is. Remove the plug and put that line on and let that tank drain.
Once the tanks are drained., Just cut the hose to length and replace, using new hose clamps and new fuel line.
If your quick enough you can swap the hoses out without draining the tank.
You will get gas on you no matter what.

I require the Old hose handle/end plug disassemble instruction for a Kenmore Whispertone model 116.20600001c

Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure.
There are some hoses that have separate hose ends and some hoses that you have to replace the entire hose the way the manufacturer made the hose. There are some local vac dealers that may have a new, or a good used hose or they also may have a non-genuine replacement hose that you could use. It really depends on the hose that you have and how it was made.
So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.
