Honda dont have filter to change,to do it you must to open the trany, there is not oil pan ok,if the filter is cloged it dont work any way coold or hot,so there is a seal leaking inside or selenoid fault when its hot,you better go to a trany shop for and electrical or pressure tes at transmission ports ok, GL

It is Torque converter clutch (TCC) solenoid locked up causing this problem. This is common in Honda Civic. To fix it, 1-It could be anything from a simple fluid and filter change (to get debris out of the fluid that might be clogging the solenoid up), 2-It could be an electrical problem (such as the solenoid, or wiring) . 3- It could be the torque converter itself has failed 4- Most the time it needs a rebuilt transmission.
However, try the most economic solution first then go to the next on according to the listed number. Good luck.

This is a lot more than just a sensor, unfortunately. I recommend bringing it to your transmission shop, because most of them offer a free diagnosis and one really needs to look at it to check the clutch, etc. You might be low on transmission fluid if you have never added any, so you should check that. Low fluid causes slipping and eventually nothing works. If that's the problem, you could get out of the problem cheaply.

It could be a faulty solenoid in the transmission or a weak seal. You need to have the transmission serviced at a transmission shop.

My shifter wont shift from park to drive brake lights work 94 civic

You may have a bad switch (Ford calls it a brake shift interlock not sure the exact term Honda uses) but check all your fuses. Below I gave you a picture and instructions on how to bypass the interlock switch until you can get the repair done or replace the bad fuse. I hope this helps and good luck.

94 del sol auto transmission problem, drives fine at first then trany goes completly, all at once, shutt it off for 20secs restart works fine for another 30 secs, ecu? selenoid?

Sounds like a plugged filter. But it is internal. You have to remove the transmission and disassemble it to replace the filter.

My car wont move forward or reverse

Chances are is that the torque converter needs to be replaced. However, the transmssion on this vehicle are only serviceable by transmision shops. No regular mechanic will open up the transmission. When the torque converter fails (clutch and plates shutters to small pieces) the debri flows in the transmision thereby potentially destroying the gears and/or clogging the filter and pump. Go straight to a reputable transmission shop and let them correctly diagnose the transmission.

You most likely need to replace the Thermostat, but also verify the engine cooling fan is working, it should come on when the AC is turned on.
