How do you enter favorites into a tomtom one?

if you enter a destination, you should then be able to go to settings, click on settings and go to favorites, then you should be able to select add and then you can pick from destinations you have previously entered, you should then even be able to give it a name

It may be (slightly) different depending on which TomTom GPS (model) you have. Just specify your model and I may be able to be more specific ..

If you're referring to deleting your FAVORITES ... simply go to your MENU ... select CHANGE PREFERENCES ... find MANAGE FAVORITES ... and you'll see your list of favorites. Select the one(s) you don't want and delete

You can actually re-enter the same address as many time as your device can physically hold in its flash memory.
My guess is that you are looking at your old 'saved' favorite: if you want to make absolutely certain about any 'new' favorites, I would suggest that you delete or rename the original one(s) first by using:
'Changes preferences' -> scroll right to 'Manage Favorites' -> scroll up/down to locate the favorite to be maintained and either 'Delete' or 'Rename'.

Press the reset button on base of unit to factory reset and start again enter your home and favourite as you need them Download TomTom Home and back up your unit in case it happens again

You should be able to edit your favorites under the Add Favorites option. Here are the steps:

not all locations are in TomTom maps this is not uncommon if you live in a new construction area that is newer than about 3 yrs old you can make a favorite location by turning on TomTom and navigating through the menu and mark the location the best way to do this would be to go into the street just infront of your driveway or parking area so you can use this favorite for routing info

when you update the maps favorites are erased the favorites will also remain greyed out untill you have marked atleat one address or location as favorite
