Question about Fisher and Paykel GWL11 Top Load Washer
This sounds like more of a switch problem. It very well could be the motor. You can check power to motor with a voltmeter. If you are getting power to motor, than motor may be bad or selector switch is bad. Also a lid switch will prevent operation of the machine as well. You can test this with an ohmmeter.
