Question about Audio Players & Recorders
My Yamaha R-V98 stereo receiver won't stay turned on for more than a few minutes before it shuts off. There is a "Sleep Timer" function that doesn't seem to have any effect, no matter what I set it to or turn the function off.
If you are running two low of an impedince (sorry i can never spell it right) or anything that runs under 8 ohms, which some speakers depending on the frequency will shut it down,
i have the same receiver and had the same problem,
it ended up for me that my center channel wasnt 8ohms,
the man A and B speakers will run ok at 4 ohms,
but the center channel is really picky,
hope i helped man,
you can contact me @ firstname.lastname@example.org if you are still having problems,
or if that isnt the problem,
ive become familiar with mine inside and out
