Question about RCA 32F531T 32" TV
Picture. Whenk I turn back on, it automatically shuts off. I unplugged for several hours, and tv was reset, but when offf after 30 mintues.
When this goes off is there a loud crack? If so perhaps the B+ supply is increasing increasing the the EHT to the CRT and the crack is the voltage across the spark gap in the crt base jumping to chassis/earth shutting down the TV. Or perhaps just a dusty/dirty eht cap, again EHT discharge, or could be a eht tripler being faulty. Further investigation with the aid of a service manual is required I am afraid.
