You may have to uninstall the usb controllers from the Device Manager and reboot the system to have them reinstalled and hope they will recognize the usb device.
But if you were never able to install the required drivers from the disk, please go to the support page here, choose your model and download and install the drivers onto the computer. That will make a world of difference.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!

How to dekcell easycap for win 7 64bit

You have to be sure the computer has the correct software to recognise the hardware connected to an USB slot and can work with it. From Windows 7 and up, for most hardware that is certified with Microsoft, you can download the drivers from Microsoft. Lots of hardware is recognised when connected and will initiate a download from Microsoft. But not all hardware will do so and not all hardware is compatible with the new operating systems.
So to make sure your hardware is compatible, check the manual (or box where the hardware came in) and find out, what you have to do so it will work on your computer.
For older equipment you can't find drivers, because most producers of hardware, don't work on certification of old hardware. They only develop and work for certification with Microsoft for the parts they want to sell now.

Have plugged the external hdrive into 4 different computers but no computer will recognise the devise light are on everything is plugged in . Brand new h drive only opened today as it was bought as a...

You might need to double check to make sure this is made for a Mac, PC, or Both. You might need to have it formated from the Disk Management (assuming you are using a Windows computer) so your computer recognizes the hard drive.
Here is a link.

If this does not work then it is likely you have a faulty unit and should ask for a replacement.

Removed coby meadia manager program from computer when plugging usb cord & coby mp3-600 back into computer. will not recognise devise as new & reload program

Media Manager is just the software that allows you to sync, the MP3 player should still show up as a Removable Disk drive under 'My Computer'. If not, check your connections, something should also appear on the MP3 player screen when connected to the computer.

Usb devise not recognised

You probably damaged the drive from sudden disconnection of the signal line. I would suggest trying it on one other computer before considering it trashed.

When I plug in the HDD16 into the USB my computer says devise is not recognised

Please clean the usb cable. Use a cotton swab with Alcohol on it. (Not dripping). You may need to use a few. If that fails to help, try another usb device in your PC & check if the PC can see that device. The cable could be defective. The FAT on the drive could have been damaged or the drives file system could be corrupt. The usb port could be loose from plugging in & out. If your OS is Vista that can be the problem. Try a Pc running XP.
Please check these links for more options.
