Your remote could be faulty, the easist way to test is to point it to a camera phone and see if it flashes. (turn on the camera on your mobile phone and point the remote to the camera and see the white flashes if any) If it flashes there is a fault with your reciever, if no flashes its your remote, maybe dirt on keypad or loose components
