Question about KitchenAid Architect Series KEBC107KSS Electric Single Oven
My KA gas oven quits working part way through the cooking cycle- but intermittently, so the repair guy comes out and can't find anything wrong with it, but then I'll cook something and think it's done only to find that it is half cooked. The oven stays on, so does the fan, and the temp. may say what it is supposed to say but whatever is inside isn't cooked and you can tell it's not heating properly just by putting your hand in. If I reset it, there is no ignition sound and the oven will just stay on "Lo" and not get any hotter, ie. to the 350 degrees where it is supposed to be! Any suggestions, this is driving me crazy- I'm afraid to invite anyone over for dinner incase the oven quits on me (which it did at the last 3 parties I've had).
Well i had a service call like this one time almost drove me crazy lol so to try to help im going to tell you about it every thing checked out but oven would not cook right finnaly i took the gasline loose from the regulator and rust and trash had built up so heavy on the regulator screen it was restictin the flow of gas so when the contol demanded more gas it couldnt get it but it wouldnt set a fault code because nothing were wrong with the conterols
