Question about Toro Lawn Mower With Toro Power Tools
I have a Toro model 20038 Personal Pace mower. The self propel is not working very well and has progressively been getting worse. The belt is good and engages properly. It appears that the wheels are slipping on the axle. The mower is 5 years old. Could it be the keys on the axle that have worn down and need to be replaced?
Try taking the back wheels off and lubricating the joint cogs and wheels with ,say, 3 in 1 oil . The dealer recommended doing this once every couple of years as preventative maintenance when I bought mine , and it has solved sticking problems for me .
