These are bios beep codes and indicate an errror condition with your system. It could be faulty or loose ram modules, hardware or device conflicts or failures. Exactly what is wrong is indicated by the sequence of beeps, but the code is specific to the bios manufacturer, so you'll need to know what kind of motherboard or bios you have installed.
For further instruction to help diagnose your computer's problem, see articles here, here,

SOURCE: computer is making a continuous long beeping

Chek your video card and see if it is in tight. What I do is remove the video card and the ram and give them a wipe with a dry cloth. Also try and blow out any dust in the slots

The error code is displayed when its beeping.
I don't know the error code, so It can only be three things,
Out of balance switch,Lid magnetic reed switch,Or Rotor position sensor,Your error code would help me work out witch one of these are faulty. to work out your error code look at picture below.
Add up the lights that are on.

We have a computer tower that needs to be fixed. we got it from our neighbors that were gonna throw it out. it can still turn on but all it makes is a humming noise, then it acts like it's gonna start up...

Sounds like to me that either you're missing a bootable OS or its the harddrive. If it beeps, chances are the OS. You can buy a copy of Vista and have someone install that for you or you can do it yourself. But if you are nervous about such or dont know about computers, have someone else do it for you.

Beep Codes

This code is telling you that there is either a problem with the graphics card or RAM. Try reseating the card & RAM. If this does not work remove and replace the graphics card. Reboot. Hope this helps.

I don't know if I can solve this here. But the beeping noise is your pc trying to tell you what is wrong with it. Somewhere there are pc beep codes. http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm?articleID=1223 If these can't help you just put "computer beep codes" into google. Here they are:

Old comp beeping sound

well..the updates might has confused the memory allocation settings, and the beeping is telling you that the memory is not happy. Try reseating memory, and swapping it's locations. Can't hurt.
