Question about Dell Inspiron 1720 PC Notebook
Reinstalling OS can solve almost anything, but it's a last resort no one wants to have to do. I read somewhere that WinUpdate should be run, but I have this prob and mine's up2date.
If usually on the net, it could be coincidence that this is when it occured. Would help if anyone knows what BAD_SPOOLER_CALLER means..? Many searches take you to BAD_POOL_CALLER, but I assume that's unrelated.
The original post was 2009, but if anyone currently has the prob, you could click on Control Panel > System & Security > Check for performance issues. I did this, and it said 'SuperFetch is not running: Fixed'.
Don't clean Prefetch.
I only have 2GB RAM, and usually have a lot of processes running at the same time - I need more. Games take a lot of memory.
It can't do any harm to run a reputable registry cleaner, like JetClean.
Hope that helps, and maybe someone more experienced can let us know a solution that's sure to work?
