Question about Nintendo Game Boy Advance Console

2 Answers

Electronic Battleship I have a very old Electronic Battleship game but have no instructions on how to program it. It runs on 2 9 volt batteries and makes noise like a missle falling but does not sound like an explosion so I assume that it is not programmed. It has 2 slots that are 1-10 and A-J and a blue and a yellow button; it has a red Fire button on each side and 1 side says Load/Go and the other side says On/Off. Does anyone know how to play with this board or where I can I get a set of instructions for it?

I tried what you said but I still don't get the explosion sound..It beeps like sonar and I get a sound like a mistle is going down so I assume that the electronics are working but maybe my game is broken and not the way I'm doing it. I appreciate your input....

If you have the whole set (including ships with plastic pegs), place the ships along your side of the 'sea board'.

Once the ships are placed on both sides, instead of calling the shots (A5 hit!), just move the sliders to the coordinates and fire away with the button.

If it's a hit, it will sound like an explosion, if not well not.

Experiment with it, you will LOVE it!

Hope that helps!

Ah, the sonar meant that there was nothing on that position.
Heh, it's been years since I played that. Sorry!

Yes... first you place the ships on the board, then with the sliders you try to guess where it will hit.

    1) You slide the Letter, then press the white (or yellow) button.
    2) You slide the number, then you press the white (or yellow) button.
These are your coordinates for your guess. Then you press FIRE (red button), and if there is a ship placed on the other side with those coordinates you entered, an explosion will sound.

After you hear a hit or miss, you place a white or red marker on your side, which is how you keep track of the opponent's ship placement.

    Hope this clears it up.

Lost manual to electronic battleship. Need formation and codes. 9 wide I long . Thanks

Hasbro makes the Battleship games. Many Hasbro toy manuals are available here: . I found four different electronic Battleship manuals. The 2006 Advanced Mission game manual link is . The 2003 version manual is here: . There is also the Talking Battleship version; the link to this manual is: . Finally the manual for the non-talking Electronic Battleship is here: .

All of the manuals have the deployment formations. The first two games are very similar in the game setup and play. The two older (Talking and Non-talking) versions also share most of their game play.

I hope this helps.
