Try using the FN key with the monitor/VGA output selection changer(usually F5). You will see a little icon that looks like two monitors. Mouse control may have been changed to the external monitor connection. See if pressing FN(function) and holding that key and then pressing the monitor key will bring back your mouse indicator. You may need to do it with the projector connected and on.

Make sure the keypad is not locked on accident might be a function key and an Fkey. See if an external mouse works fine.

Desaparecio el cursor de la pantalla. Conecto un mouse y tampoco aparece el cursor.

The cursor on the touch-pad is probably disabled...try to go into the control panel ..and under he touch pad see if you can activate the cursor again ..If there is no possibility ...just download the touch pad driver again from the support site ..and run it into computer to install ...Restart when you finish and it should work again ..cause when newly installed the program is defaulted and all settings are new.

try to check your touch pad without AC power i mean run your computer on battery if your touchpad working ok on battery so there is a problem with your adapter ampere ask any local repairing center to check your adapter ampere or change your adapter and do not purchase compatible adapter, compatible adapter can not resolve your touch pad problem go for original adapter from toshiba

Touch pad failed.

Look along the top of the keyboard for an "f key" that shows a "touch pad" icon, IF you see it, press the "function key" (along the bottom of the keyboard) PLUS at the same time the "f key" (that you found along the top) and that should "toggle" the touch pad back on....
Also, IF you plug in a USB mouse that will allow you to move the cursor around--but the USB mouse doesn't fix your touch pad problem.
Hope this helps.

Cursor lockup

This is generally cuased by a software conflict. You can eliminate this by purchasing an external mouse. Walmart has a nice little wireless Microsoft mouse for about $20.

Toshiba laptop touchpad click not working

Ok so here goes.... I had the same problem:

Go to the 'start' button and then hit the 'control panel' option, then click 'mouse' then go to 'Device Settings' and then to the 'settings'. When you get to this screen it shows a list on lthe left hand side choose the 'tapping' option and then ok.

Hope it works for you...it did for me.
