Question about LG Vu CU920 Cellular Phone

1 Answer

Too much work.

I was hoping to find a solution to the annoying process of moving pictures to the memory card. I don''t understand why we cant just select all pictures and paste them into the memory card. Somebody had comment about Data sync. What does that do? and how do you change it in the lg vu? or if anybody has found an easier way to transffer pictures to memory card, please share info. Thank you.

You need a Data cord, connect it to your computer and you should be able to add files like any other mp3 player or flash drive.

I cant see good enough to read my manual, and my camera keeps saving my pictures to my camera memory instead of to my memory card. i want to know how to change this. also i only have like 10 pictures on...

To get your card to work, you must get rid of the pictures in the internal memory. Here's how: with no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format" and follow the on-screen instructions to erase the internal memory. Then, insert your card and it should work properly.

Whenever i take a one picture with my camera it will say memory full after i take one picture.

Hi! Some cameras have a limited internal memory. To make more space on your camera, you need to connect it to a computer to move the pictures in there, or to add a external memory space to your device like a memory card. However, you should know that memory cards have different sizes and you need to check your camera to see what type of memory card accepts.
I hope this will help you! Have a nice day!

When i turn on my camera, it won't read my memory card and won't bring up my photos that are already on my memory card. I put my memory card in and i go to take a picture and it says 'pictures...

If the card was one that was previously used in another camera, you can't use it in this camera without formatting it. Move the pictures to a computer and format the card via the camera (remember that all data on the card will be erased). Before formatting the card however, make sure the battery has sufficient charge as this process can take some time. Also remember to never interrupt this process as it can damage the card. The format option can be found in the settings.
Note: pictures taken on one camera can't be viewed on another camera.

When I insert my memory card into my printer, all that pops up is "Memory Card Error." I really want to get my pictures off of the memomry card and into my computer, so this is getting pretty...

make sure that the card is not locked, there might be a little tab on the side of it that slides up and down. If doesn't work, it probably needs to be reformatted once you get all your pictures off of it. (you will lose everything) When reformatting it, make sure that you use the FAT or FAT32 setting.

How do I clear the memory card? It is 90% full ms530

If you already install the driver in a PC, then you can connect your camera via cable data, then you can move your picture files into PC's hard drive and delete the pictures in your camera's memory card. Or you can put off your memory card and open it via card reader. Do the same way (copy-paste-delete) to the picture files. After deleting process, you'll get more space in your memory card so you can put it back into your camera and you can use to save many pictures again.

Hope this help and be kind to rate please.

I have followed the instructions to move pictures to memory card - but it has moved a little bit and not done anything else. what do i do next?

I understand that you are moving the pictures from the Camera's internal memory to a memory card.

You might want to try once again and see if you get any specific error message.

I am suspecting that the memory card is out of free space.

If that is the case then you will need to transfer the contents of the memory card to another location (perhaps on your computer) and then try to move the contents of the camera to your card again.

This will resolve the issue you are facing.
If this doesn't work for you, please comment and let me know, and I will be more than happy to assist you to further resolve your issue.

I will look forward to your feedback and positive rating.

Saving Pictures to Memory Card

I want to make sure I understand your question...
When you take pictures, the camera automatically saves them to the memory card.
If you want to copy the photos to your computer, that's easy as well.

There are basically two ways to copy/move pictures from the memory card to your computer.
1) Attach the cable that *may* have come with your camera to the PC and camera's USB ports.
2) Purchase an inexpensive USB card reader. [They sell for around $5-$7.]
2a) Place your memory card in the reader.
2b) Insert the card reader into the USB port on your computer and view the pictures.

Picasa, GIMP and other FREE programs (widely available on the Internet) will allow you to edit the pictures as well.

BTW, if you have a CVS Pharmacy near you, they are offering 50 free prints when you join their photo club. I don't advocate any business, per se, but just thought I'd add that because you might want to print the pictures as well.

I hope this helps. If it does, please rate the solution offered. My goal is always FixYa or Helpful, never TFT or IA. Regards,
