Question about HP Compaq nc6220 Notebook
My hp nc6220 won't turn on. the battery indicator light is on, so i know that it has some juice flowing, but when i push the power button, the fan blows for about 5 seconds then everything just stops. please help!
Maybe the motherboard is weak service it then heat it for some mins and allow it to cool before coupling it back.

Simply put there can one of several causes. Test the power output at the tip of the charger, weak or failing chargers may not deliver the specified voltage to properly power or charge the laptop sufficiently to continue operation. The DC jack may be worn out and not accepting the proper voltage from the charger. A very hot charger may be an indication of power distribution issues. The biggie may be that the motherboard has failed and is not accepting the signal to keep things running and is ordering a complete unit shutdown before the boot process begins.
