I think you install a wrong driver and not supported the hardware it only says working properly but no sounds coming. Try to find the appropriate driver for that device.

Na man. I got the same monitor on DVI connection you must put on a HDMI to have the sound from the monitor however my speaker is 10x better than that. However, I can't get the only audio plug on this monitor to output or input the sound. I am very disappointed I must say. Most people have a better speaker now days anyways. As far as your issue goes try a HDMI if you graphic card supports that if not try an DVI to HDMI adaption. ATI 4890XXX came with one. This card is not optimum for but it works. Try GeForce they may be better choice for GUDA tech on board.
