6E error means ambient temperature is too low.
A problem that occurs when the potentiometer connected in series with the thermistor on the microprocessor board is damaged.
SInce the microprocessor is damaged, the water is not getting stopped after getting filled...
You should call a repairman or even phone tech support to repair your machine..
As this is under generic problems on all washing machines, due to water getting poured over the circuit board..
