Remove cd player from car

I have a Sony XR C5100R multi CD changer in my car which I want to remove as I'm trading it in for scrappage and my brand new car only has a single CD player. It was installed when I bought the car and I have no idea how to remove it. It is in a Toyota Corolla. The control unit is in the dashboard and the CD changer is in the boot. I'm a woman who is useless at this type of thing! Any help?
