Check the unloader valve (pressure relief valve) probably need to replace the o-ring. it should be on the side of the pump and have a large spring. just unscrew and replace.
hope this helps.

Not enough water VOLUME and pressure to supply the pump with a steady flow of water. Water is cavatating (adding air to the water) and the piston is heating up and jambing. Try using a larger size hose diameter and a shorter hose to supply the pump.

I have a PW1600 Power washer. the High pressure hose connector is cracked. Can that be replaced? AND if so how do you remove it from the gun and hosing.

I don't know what brand it is, but in general the hoses can be replaced. There are fittings and hoses available. the fitting for most PW's are interchangeable. try looking at stuff here. (they do not necessarily have the best prices or stuff they just have good pictures) http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/category_pressure-washers+pressure-washer-accessories

How do I get an instruction manual?

First you will need your model number which I believe is PW1700-B2.
Then you go to this page:
http://www.blackanddecker.com/manuals.aspx and enter your model number.

I came up with this link:
http://servicenet.blackanddecker.com/Products/Detail/PW1700-B2 You can download both the parts and the instruction manual from this page.

If the model number is incorrect... just enter your model number upper RH side of the page to get the same manual & parts data for your pressure washer.

Thanks for choosing FixYa,

I have a Black & decker-pressure washer and the problem is the hose was broken. How can i fix or where i can buy a new one?

duck tape if it's completely dry and extremely tight. Mabey epoxy but that might not be strong enough. I would just get a new hose at blackanddecker . com or ebay

Trouble with cleaning solution in my Black & Decker Power Washer

usually you have to lower the pressure at the lane for the detergent to come through as it works on a venturi principle.
can you twist or pull back on the lance to lower the pressure?
if you can take out the lance extension and run the machine you will see if that is tha cse as it should then pull deterrgent into the pump.
alternatively take the high pressure hose off the front off the machine and run it, this should also pull detergent in. if not you have an obstruction in the detergent pipe, blocked filter, regulator not open enough. or a worn injector.

High pressure hose connection blew up. Fix? or buy new?

Yes take it to napa auto parts and they can cut and attach a new end which are for hydraulics. They are crimped on and meant to hold very very high pressure. I used to use a pressure washer everyday for a living and it was a tractor rental/repair shop and we used the hydraulic fitting machine on the power washer hose all the time so rest assured.
