Why doesn't the disc tray come out when I press the button, I have done what the manuel said to do (disconnect the power source for a least 5 secons) but still nothing happens?

Depending on the device, you might try a manual 'eject'... most CD/DVD drives have a small hole at the side of the drive tray that will let you manually eject the CD/DVD...

Unbend a paper clip so you have an end of the wire pointing out, and then (with the computer turned on) gently insert the wire of the paperclip into the small hole until you feel some resistance, press a little further... you should hear a click and the drive will open...

How do I remove the disc holder from the motor shaft

Disc holder needn't pulled out. You can unscrew the seating screws of motor, without removing disc holder. There will be holes on the disc holder, through which you can see the seating screws of the motor. You might need watch repair mans' type small screw driver to unscrew it.
The disc holder is a stationary part. It will be very difficult to adjust the height if removed. The motor comes with disc holder fitted and by the company.

I've just fitted a second-hand replacement cd changer in my car, but the cartridge will not eject from the cassette. Any ideas?.

There is an easy fix for this. The rootcause is most likely related to your disc tray (crooked carrier or broken spring). Just get a small screwdriver and take out the two black srews of the inner faceplate, covering the cassette tray itself. Please make sure you do not drop those tiny screws. Use a magnetic tip screw driver. Take the faceplate off. You will see a litlle lever in the center. Just push it aside and your cassette will pop out with no problem. Thanks

The cd player on my kenwood ud302 is jammed shut with cd's do I open it .....any ideas please?

All CD and DVD players have a small hole in the front of the tray. This is for situation like you are in. Insert a paper pin into it and press a little when you encounter resistance. The tray will unlock and open.

The system won't eject the CD changer.

You will need to reset your system.

Turn on the master unit and select the CD as your source. Open the door on the master unit to show all of the speaker numbers, here you will find a small pin hole next to the number 5 speaker. Use a small paper clip, unfold it and stick it into the reset hole. Hold the pin there for a minimum of 5 seconds until the clock starts to blink. Hit the time button seven times to get a solid time again. After turn on the master power and try the CD player again.

In my case the disc cartridge ejected when i was resetting the system.
