Re: inside and outside screens are blank..

My V3 doesn't work either, the screen randomly turns on occasionally but try taking out the batery and the sim card and they inserting it back in. If this doesn't work i suggest taking the phone back to the place where you brought it. Hope this helps!

How does one forward incomming calls on a uniden 2.4ghz cordless phone?

Cordless phones can not 'forward' a call to an outside line.
Forwarding must be controlled by the ATT, Verizon, or landline provider.
Please contact your provider to determine if you have call forwarding feature built into your service package.

Then, follow the instructions of your landline phone provider.
Here is the instructions for Verizon:

Activating Call Forwarding
You can activate Call Forwarding whenever you want your calls to be sent to another phone, including a mobile phone. Once activated, all your calls will be sent to the forwarding number you request. Each time a call is forwarded, you will hear one short reminder tone on your home phone, but you will not be able to answer the call from your home number.

  1. Lift your telephone's receiver and listen for a dial tone.

  2. Press star.gif7.gif2.gif.
In some areas you must use 7.gif2.gifpound.gif
Dial 1172 on rotary or pulse-dialing phones.

  3. When you hear the tone, set or change the Call Forwarding number by dialing the telephone number where you want your calls transferred.
You will hear the number you entered ring. When the number is answered, Call Forwarding is activated.

  4. If the call is not answered or the line is busy, hang up and call the number again within two minutes.
You will hear two short tones telling you that Call Forwarding is activated.

  5. Hang up the receiver.

How to block a number?

if you want to block a number calling to u then first you should call on the help line to your service provider because every compny has this facility to block any unknown number. or some cell phone has also this facility...

But in other case to hide your number from recipent follow these steps.....

Consult your phone company's website or white page directory. Since rules vary from carrier to carrier, it's best to contact your provider for confirmation of how to block a phone number.

  • 2 Use the universal call blocking code, "*67," before placing a call to prevent your phone number from appearing on a recipient's caller ID box. This temporary blocking method requires that you dial *67 before every call you want blocked.
  • 3.Order per-line blocking from your provider if you want every call from a specific phone number blocked. The fee for this varies according to provider, and only certain states allow it. Check with your phone company for details. To unblock the line and allow the number to show on a receiver's caller Id, dial "*82" before calling.

  • 4 Be aware that when you block your number from being displayed, your name and company (if applicable) also remain blank on the caller's display. Depending on the provider, the recipient's caller ID remains blank, shows dashes or displays "Caller Unknown" or another message.
  • 5 Learn that you can't prevent the owner of a 1-800 or 1-866 number from seeing your phone number. These companies can determine your phone number through ANI (Automatic Number Identification), but they can't distribute that information to other
