The cmos settings can be changed when the machine first starts up. Look on the screen that says something like press <key> to enter Setup, Cmos,or Bios and then press that key, That is where you can change those settings.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Cmos settings do not remain

g'day!

perhaps there is something wrong with your CMOS battery that's why the settings does not save. to find out, see if the time and date on your CMOS is not correct. You then have to change the battery. Once the battery has been changed, power up the computer and go to the BIOS settings to reset the settings to the settings you want. press F10 to save the changes you have made. once done you can reboot you computer.

cheers mate!

I need a Motherboard manual for a WALKIE PC. Model S381-F

I ent to 'Just Answer' and they told me to take the CMOS batter out, disconnect al of the cables to IDE devices, pull all of the memory sticks out, pull all of the cards out, then power it up and see if the Fan stoped running after 4-7 seconds. The Fan kept spinning, so I added baka memoy module at a time and repeated the poer up sequene until I had everything back together, put the CMSO battery back in, set the configuration up and it works once again. Cost $14

My hp pavilion dv6000 is 3 years old....it switches on for 10mins and then reboots . i also get sysdate error, so generally try and turn on to safe mode.....

If you will take my advice you will do yourself more good by running system restore to factory default and remember to backup your documents and files.

Restart the system holding down the F11 function key till you hear a beep. then follow the onscreen instructions.

Good luck.
