Question about HP Officejet Pro L7590 All-in-One InkJet Printer

Open Question

The printer keeps getting stuck. In the printer queue it show that a document is being elimnated but it won t fully eliminate it and it doesnt permit to pass on to the rest of documents to print. Its 7th time it happens and even if I turn off printer and reboot computer it still remains as processing elimination of same document. only way to fix that has worked is to uninstall the printer and reinstall with cd. but is very inefficient and time consuiming way.

Unplug printer from wall. Reboot computer. Check that document is gone before plugging printer back in. NOTE, "unplug from wall" does not mean "turn printer off". Unplug it.

Hi Violet,
There might be a number of reasons due to which your documents get stuck in a printer queue. Overloading and driver issues are the major reason behind this. Brand new printer not working. I think document get stuck in queue and will not print.

if your saying they are stuck in queue here is a way to remove them from queue.
At bottom - right of your toolbar (near the windows clock at the bottom) you will see a small printer icon there.
Right click it and choose open all printers.
There you will see all the documents that are queued. Just cancel and delete all the files.
Hope i help. Please give me feedback about my solution thanks.

Printing blocked by a document showing being deleted

Sounds like a stuck document is in the print queue. Try to clear the print queue first before sending another print job otherwise it will just accumulate in the queue. The steps below will help you clear the queue.

MY LEXMARKX5650 THERE IS A DOCUMENT STUCK IN MY QUEUE. IT SAYS DELETING BUT IT DOESNT DELETE I CANT PRINT MY OTHER DOCUMENTS I REALLY DONT WANT TO HAVE TO RESTART THE PC IHAVE A FILLED IN DOCUMENT THAT...

Disconnect the printer from the computer. Open the print queue, and be sure that the title bar says "printer offline". If it doesn't, select "use printer offline" from the file menu. Then try to delete the file multiple times if necessary to clear the queue. You may have to reboot the computer, but try this first. Also, you can try pressing cancel on the printer itself. If none of this works, disconnect the printer from power for 10 minutes, and try again. Good luck!!

Print jobs stick in prnt queue

A lot of users have no idea how to change the MS Office default from US to UK .. so they have US spellings and US paper sizes (known as 'Letter' sized) .. and (of course) any Document that started life in USA keeps it's size until some-one changes it ... since Letter size is almost the same as A4 no-one cares UNTIL they come to print it ...

I'm sure you can guess the rest :-)

Yes, the Printer is looking in it's feed tray for Letter sized paper .. yes, Letter doc's will print just fine on A4 and most printers have a setting somewhere that lets it use A4 when asked for Letter (often called "automatic A4<>Letter convert" or some such)

NB. when time permits, perhaps the unfortunate users can have their MS Office apps. set to UK mode :-)

I have got a hp deskjet f4180 all in one printer. sometimes it will not let me deleting a printing job in a queue. it keeps saying deleting but it doesnt dissapear also this then stops me from printing...

what you need to do is go the the control panel, performance and maintenance, administrative tools, then double click on "services".

scroll down the list to " print spooler. single click on it to highlight, then on the left click "stop"

once it is stopped, again on the left, click start.

This should clear out any print documents that became "stuck" in the print queue.
