No Picture Just replaced the lamp assembly and tried to reset the hour meter. Selected "Usrereset" and the screen turned to snow and the meter did not reset. Need to restore the picture!

No picture, just sound then it turns off.


Try to check the lamp if damage, replace the lamp after you replace the lamp, don't forget to reset the lamp hour meter good day and best regards.

Hi i just replace a new lamp for my panasonic but the message on the screen still show u need the reset the lamp hour meter ! please show me how to reset the lamp hour meter


Be sure the power cord is plugged into a properly grounded wall outlet. Then, press the POWER button on the projection display or the remote control to turn the unit on.


While pressing the VOL- button on the projection display, hold down the PIP or SPLIT button on the remote control at same time for more than 5 seconds.


When reset procedure is complete, the screen will indicate that the lamp has been reset!


NOTE: When lamp time reset is finished, the LAMP indicator goes out!

How to change lamp on PT52LCX15K
Turn TV off and wait for the red light to stop blinking,then unplug it from the wall. IMPORTANT: Wait for a least a hour after turning off your TVfor the lamp to cool off. It is veryhot On a Panasonic PT52LCX15K the lamp is located under thefront panel that covers the speakers.
  1. Remove the front panel. Just grab it on both side and pull gently.
  1. TO THE RIGHT OF THE LEFT SPEAKER you will see a round locking knob on the lamp cover. Turn the knob to the left and remove the cover.
  1. Inside you will see a case with a handle on it. Pull it out and you will see the lamp assembly
  1. Remove the two screws holding the lamp assemble and remove. Use the handle.
Putting it back in just do everything in reverse. You will have to reset the lamp meter yourself.To reset the lamp hour meter:
Hold down the volume button on the TV and at the same timepress and hold the PIP (picture in picture) button on the remote. Watch the screen and you will see when it is complete. It only takes a few seconds.

Red lamp lite on and how to reset lamp hour meter?


turn your tv on. on the tv it self press and hold the " - " like your turing it down. then on your remote press and hold the number " 0 " for five seconds. it should say the the meter has been reset to zero.

I've already replaced the bulb on my Panasonic television model number PT52LCX66, but I can not get the message of the screen that tells me to reset the hour meter lamp. How do I reset the the hour meter...


Turn off tv. Hold vol- on tv and tv/video button on remote same time for 5 seconds. Select lamp time use vol- on remote to reset to zero. turn off tv to remove serv menu.

when the timer light is turn ON, tv is telling you that lamp will be going out soon, is basically a hour meter, it just reach the limit of hours that tv haves program of use for a lamp and that you can reseted by:
1.- taking the lamp out nad in again, that way tv will detect there is a new lamp. If not.

Panasonic PT-50LC13 reset hour meter


on the tv itself push the volume down button and at the same time using the remote control press the pip button. I just did this on my tv - had the same problem. it worked perfectly. Jeanne
