Hi,

This should be a problem with the frequency rate (Screen Refresh Rate) , please try to set it to default and also update the nvidia drivers with the latest version.

Hope it will solve your problem.

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

Display driver ati radeon family stopped responding and has succesfully recovered. When playing game they freeze up. New alien aurora 5970 ati

First thing to do I guess is check your GPU temperature.
Use GPU-Z and see what it says when idling and under load.
Else try checking for newer or older drivers, maybe it's driver related.

Display driver stopped responding NVLDDMKM.SYS

Hi,

The problem is not the hardware but basically a driver that is corrupt. The graphcs driver thats crashing is one for nVidia, the fix for this is an easy one.

Restart the laptop and repeatedly tap the F8 key. This should take you to an advanced boot options screen. Use the cursor key to navigate to Safe Mode and hit the enter. The computer will start up using basic display drivers so the nVidia drivers won't load and crash the machine.

When the comuter has booted right click on My Computer (XP) Computer (Vista) and select manage from the sub menu.
When the window pops up select Device Manager.
A device list will populate. When it has look down the list for Display Adapters. Click on the + icon next to Display Adapters to it expands. Right click on the display adapter2_bing.gif and select uninstall.

Restart the computer and let it boot in normal mode.
If it boots2_bing.gif in normal mode let it detect the Display and install the drivers for it.
I would be a good idea to update the display drivers via the Acer Support2_bing.gif website or perform a Microsoft update and see if there any updated drivers for the nVidia graphics.

Regards.

Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding how to fix this problem.

This problem can be caused by 2 things, a problem with ur nvidia drivers, or with ur nvidia hardware. When does this problem happen? if u cant even start windows, its a hardware problem(had it 1 month ago and had to replace my video card), if u can start windows normally but sometimes this happens, try downloading the last driver available for ur videocard.

Problem with display in DELL XPS M1530

Your video driver crashed. Have you installed a video game or Fusion tv tuner recently. deinstal and reload your video driver. holding down the F8 key while booting go into control mode (which doesn't load drivers) delete app, then load drivers from your CD.

Display driver stopped responding

For this issue , You need to boot in safe mode by tapping F8 key and go to safe mode with networking (As internet works in this mode). Try installing the Driver again from the following website "http://www.nvidia.com/object/geforce_notebook_winxp_179.48_beta.html"

OR click on the following link

javascript:%20checkAgreement('http://www.nvidia.com/content/DriverDownload/download_confirmation.asp?kw=&url=http://us.download.nvidia.com/Windows/179.48/179.48_notebook_winxp_32bit_beta.exe');

Hope it works.
Cheers

HP 873n, had Display driver nvlddmkm error, now won't boot

This is a know issue and there is know known solution to this. My take on this is heating problem and vista power management.

its a big mess and different things work for different people. My take would be to update the nvidia drivers and hange the power settings in vista. Control Panel> power management> balanced.

For more possible fixes see http://i.nconspicuo.us/2007/03/28/nvidia-nvlddmkm-vista-driver-fix-here-is-the-solution/

Try reinstalling the video driver or updating it to a newer version.

Drivers and updated drivers can be usually found on the manufacturers website.

My Hp PAvilion DV9000 LAptops screen keeps going blank. If I hook it up to and external monitor then it works.

YOUR INTERAL DISPLAY ADAPTOR MAY BE GOING BAD, HAVE U TRIED REINSTALLING THE DRIVER , IF SO ITS UR ADAPTOR OR THE SCREEN ITSELF WHICH IS NOT A BIG PROBLEM REPLACING. THE EASIEST THING TO DO IS ASSUME ITS THE MONITOR. DOES IT DO THIS IMMEDIATELY OR DOES IT TAKE A WHILE. WHEN U HOOK UP THE OTHER MONITOR DO BOTH SCREENS WORK.
