Question about HP Computers & Internet
I had the same problem as others where the lights come on but nothing happens (no fan, no HDD sounds, nada but lights) and go back off after 2 seconds (or when i lift my finger from the power button)I replaced my motherboard myself and now it comes on, gives me an error that my network card is unsupported and when i remove the card, it successfully loads windows. However, now it just cuts off in the middle of whatever i am doing and i have to wait a few seconds before i can turn it back on and then the same thing happens.
What is it that could have gone wrong?
Sounds like an overheating problem, make sure the fan is working properly.
Download PCWizard and it will tell you the temperatures.
