Question about T-Mobile Dash Smartphone
The alarm goes off even when i have turned it off and now all the diffrent times ive set the alarm it goes off for those times as well, there can ba like 10 alarms going off at one time, and the thing is the phone doesnt even have an option for multiple alarms! i've already done a hard reset and that did NOT work, please help! thx
The solution is a follows; If you have any legit alarms already set, disable them before proceeding
1) As soon as the unwanted alarm goes off , look at what time your phone says it is and make a note of it. (if you know EXACTLY what time it goes off at, then go to the next step)
2) Goto Start -> Clock & Alarm -> Alarm
3) Set the alarm time for the exact time from step #1. Set alarm to On.
4) Click Done, done, and done
5) Goto Start -> Clock & Alarm -> Alarm
6) Change the alarm to Off.
7) Click Done, done, and done
That's it, the alarm should now be disabled for this unwanted alarm, if you have multiple unwanted alarms, repeat this procedure for each.

Here is what i did. It seems the alarm will ring at that certain time each day right? like for example my alarm rings at 5:00 PM every single day. and for some reason it will only do it once during that day....so if i set up my phones clock to 5:00 pm again and use the same date it wont ring again. But if i change it to 5:00pm tomorrow it will ring again. So i thought hmmm.....why not just change it to like the year 2020 and put it at 5:00pm. So i did this and boom all of a sudden the alarms started ringing like crazy. b/c its gonna show all the alarms it missed until 2020. and all you have to do is click menu while the alarms are ringing and then hit dismiss all. Thats it. now i dont get those ******** alarms anymore. And you can use the alarm feature now without any problems.

I know exactly what you are talking about and have had the same issue but there is a way to fix it but it takes time. I used to have alarms going off all the time until i realized that there is a specific way to which to "shut off the alarm" and dismissing them wont get rid of them. The phone keeps the alarm times in memory unless you get rid of them. I found that when you want to "get rid" of an alarm you have to into the alarm that is currently set and change it to "off" then click the middle silver button and another screen pops up to choose "off" and then press "done". That alarm wont come back and then you can set up another but if you just choose off and then set another alarm it will keep it in history and go off and if you select dismiss at that time it will remove it.

This is a known (and ignored) problem with the dash, caused by poor programming. The only solution I've found is to install a copy of SKTools...the free version will work, and go into the "notifications queue" and remove the pending alarms you don't want. The problem is the dash queue's alarms for the next 4-5 days every time an event is scheduled, but doesn't remove them when it is canceled.
Throwing the phone really hard across the room at 5am also works, but is kind of permanent, and not recommended....
I've heard the problem is the same on WM5 and WM6.

I used the SKTools, but the list didn't include the 4:00am alarm, only the 7:15 alarm (which I deleted). Should I be worried that my phone will alarm for 4:00am tomorrow. This is becoming a major pain.
