Question about Fuji FinePix A210 Zoom Digital Camera

1 Answer

I have a fuji Finepix A210, and when I take a photo, everything appears to work correctly till it tries to save - the indicator light keeps alternating red and green and the camera freezes. If I reboot the camera has not saved the picture and the card is empty.

    Thanks Typrice,
    That wasn't the issue.
I have found a solution for the moment - I reformatted the cards via computer, then took a random pic, then deleted all frames, on each card
It still takes an exorbitantly long time to save the picture, but it does seem to be working now

I do have a question - is there any chance connecting the camera too a non-windows operating system could have contributed to this?

Are the contacts on the card clean? Try wiping them with a cloth.

Connecting the camera to a different system wouldn't cause your problem. However, when you disconnect, you need to use the "remove hardware" command or the "eject" command on a Mac. Just pulling the plug can corrupt the card and the camera. Also, the card works best if formatted in the camera, not a computer. In fact, some cards won't work at all when formatted on a computer.

Fuji FinePix A210 contacts are messing up the picture card

Have you been in a high humidity environment? Did you use the camera in cold weather and then brought it in to a warm room so moisture condensed inside? If the problem keeps recurring, I suspect mold in the camera. If so, repair could be expensive.

I have a Fuji FinePix A210 and I want to get a clear photo of a quarter of a U. S. quarter. Is there a way to do that with the camera I have or do I need a different camera?

Hi - You can download the manual by clicking the link underlined in blue below:

Select the macro mode on page 27:

For best results use a tripod & bright daylight if possible.

Can't save photos

the problem was I did't configure the exposure correctly for work in manual mode
I mean I set the aperture and speeds correctly so that the camera is able to take a good picture For example I try to set the speed at 125th of a sec. and the aperture at f8. So now I can take good pictures.
thanks.

When that problem has happen to my Fuji A210 is because the slider that cover the lense has not gone all the way to the right ! I usually move the slider strongly 2 o 3 times to the left and to the right, and then turn the camera on. Fortunately, that trick has worked for me, so I hope it also works for you !!!
