- dynex #dx-wgrtr has no "QUICK INSTALLATION GUIDE" on the CD-ROM which has steps which are to be completed prior to going to the the nextphase of the entire install process. Have attempted unsuccessfully to download the info from the Dynex website.- Guest

- yes I have the same issue. then i called the tech support number, they transferred me to geek squad . they said and they would charge me 150.00 to fix my problem. so much for a deal on a 35.00 self install router.- dave-loBest Solution

When the installation software asked me if I performed the steps in the Quick Installation Guide, I just said yes. Here's what I had done prior (I'm not saying this is what the guide says to do, but, I was able to set up my DYNEX Wireless Enhanced G Router after having done these steps):
- Connected the power cable and plugged it in to the wall.
- Connected the Internet cable from my DSL modem to the Green port on the back of the router.
- Connected my PC using an RJ-45 cable to one of the blue ports on the back of the router.
