Click on start, click on control panel, find the sounds and audio devices icon click on it. Verify the tabs to see that they are set to your specs...ie click the sounds tab and verify that it is set to "no sound".

Depends on what (and how ) it's playing. Check in the Start folder for anything out of the ordinary: media players, different files, anything that shouldn't be there.
Otherwise maybe has modified the music Windows plays when it starts - check that into Control Panel - Sounds - System sounds - or whatever is called in yours.

Ue boom connected to pc but is not playing music... if i get lucky i get muffled sounds play back, how do i fix this

Q: What should I do if the audio is distorted or drops out on my UE BOOM?

A: Audio distorted or dropping out when streaming to UE BOOM
If you're having trouble with audio distortion or drop-outs on your UE BOOM, try these suggestions:
  • Move the audio source closer - it might be out of the range of your speaker.
  • Move away from other sources of wireless signal - you could be experiencing interference.
  • Make sure your speaker has enough battery power (connect it to a power source with the supplied adapter).
  • Adjust the volume on both the audio source and your speaker.
  • Restart both your speaker and the audio source.
  • Re-pair your device with your speaker (see, "How do I pair additional Bluetooth® devices with my speaker?").
  • If you're using two UE BOOM speakers (for Double Up), try disconnecting and streaming to one speaker only.
NOTE: If you're streaming audio content from the internet, the issue could be with the internet connection and not your speaker.

How to record audio

Connect audio source to audio input. Switch on, select playlist. Create new track in playlist, select analogue or digital input according to what you have connected, and press 'record' to verify source connected (shows on VU meters). Press play to start recording

I cant get the tv to go through the surround sound i can only get the surround sound to play when its a dvd playing do i need another wire to go from the dvd player or will it not work no matter what plz...

If you've got the Audio Input Source set as TV-Audio and it won't play as Surround Sound then you'll need to connect the Audio Out from your TV (if it has one?) to the Audio AUX IN on your LH-T360SE and change the Audio Input Source to AUX.

New tv, new marantz sr5004, hdmi cable- no sound out of speakers

To really help you would require a bit more detail. HDMI is the video part of the signal - the audio part may require additional cables. Also, source material may play a role. I'd start by seeing if you have some audio outputs from whatever your source is and connecting those to the Marantz. Beyond that, I'd need more info to be sure I was giving decent advice.

Surround sound only plays via cd/dvd will not play through normal tv audio. can u help me fix this

Only a digital source can provide true surround. If you're running the audio FROM the TV TO the receiver it is probably analog stereo only.

Why not get your TV-rekated audio from the same source you're watching - like the cable/sat box?

My lap top has stopped playing audio

Right click the volume control - select open - this will open a larger volume control showing the volumes for each type of sound. Make sure none of the sliders are muted or low.

On hold device

Start by looking at the system. It's pretty tough to miss the two jacks labeled MUSIC and PA.

They take a 1/8" (3.5mm) mono jack, so you can come out of your MOH device with an RCA to 1/8" or 1/8" to 1/8" cord. Your local Rat Shack should have the cables.

Recording to Cassette

Hi,

Most Audio Shelf System follow the same procedures for recording. You need to select your source as if you will just be listening, AM, FM, Aux etc. Thereafter, you need to press Record (sometimes with PLAY) to start the recording. Normally, it will record whatever source is playing.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.
