Question about Fisher and Paykel IWL12 Top Load Washer
Help!!!!! My top loader is approx 4 yrs old and won't drain water from the rinse cycle. It starts and will rinse for 3 seconds then stop, followed by a rinse of around a second. It will do this for 2 more attempts then starts it's alarm and won't stop beeping until the machine is turned off. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Check your exit hose spigot, it may be clogged. This is if your filter is all clean. There should be air for passage in the standpipe behind. Your hose should not fit airtight into the standpipe and neither too deep into it (4 to 6 inches maximum). Snaking out your standpipe would be good too.
Rate me pl.....if helped. Click on 'thanks for trying' if not helped, your prob will be back for someone else to solve.

Tips for a great answer:
possible that the machine does not start off the cycle because there are errors
due to feedback from the inputs. For the program to start up the main program
controller must initiate the INLET/MOTOR/DRAIN
pump/ valve to open up and allow each function to be driven starting from
the flow of water into the drum as also the drain valve to open to exit the
water at the point of the program cycle. If this does not happen then the
voltage at the valve/motor/pump must be checked or the fault relates to no
voltage from the controller. This means
the controller is a suspect.
If there is no power it can be due to a failure of the power supply.
