Re: power cords

Is it too late?

From the HP support:

Power specifications
. Power consumption: 50W maximum
. Source (Input) Voltage: 100 to 240 VAC*, grounded
. Input Frequency: 50 to 60 Hz
. Current: 1A maximum
* Figures are based on using the AC adapter that came with your unit (HP part number 0950-2880)
Don't know if you can get an adapter, but at least you have a part #.

I bought my lexmark at a yard sell but it didn't come with the cords and I like to know what kind of cords I need to get it working it's a all-in-one. Thank you

Hello, Since the specific model of the printer is listed, you will need to search for the parts you need HERE, In general terms, you should have the main power cord which plugs into the wall and most likeky a USB printer cable to attach to the computer. A USB printer cable can be purchased at any Computer store, the main power cable, would most likely have to be purchased direct form Lexmark....

I hope this and been of assistance, Regards.....

I just brought a hp deskjet j4580 and I brought it second hand it has no cables or cords will it be expensive to replace ?

It shouldn't be too awfully much to fix- you only need a power cord and a usb cord with a compatible fitting for the printer. If you take it to a used computer shop, or Best Buy, or Radio Shack, they should be able to get you going.

Hp t65 error code

Step-1: Connect the All-in-One directly to power outlet

The surge protector may not supply sufficient power to the printer. To isolate the issue please remove the power plug of the printer from the surge protector and connect it to the wall jack directly.

Being a All-in-One Machine it needs full voltage to be supplied while initializing Surge protectors supply suppressed voltage to the printer which leads to unexpected issues in the printer

After performing the steps, please perform the steps below.

Step-2: Power Cycle the All-in-One

Follow the steps below to power cycle your all-in-one:

1. Verify that the unit is switched on. Disconnect the USB/Ethernet cable from the All-in-One and also disconnect power cable from All-in-One and also from wall outlet.

2. Wait 30 seconds.

3. Plug in the power cable to All-in-One and also to wall outlet.

4. Check for the functionality.

After performing the above steps if issue persists, please perform the below steps.

Step-3: Reset to Factory defaults

A partial reset will return user settings to factory defaults. On some models, language and country/region settings are also reset. Perform a partial reset of the product by following the instructions below.
  1. Unplug the power cord from the unit.
  2. Do the following according to your specific product:
    • HP Officejet G55 and G55xi series: Press and hold Minus ( - ) and 3 while plugging in the power cord.
    • HP Officejet G and K series:
    • Press and hold # and 3 while plugging in the power cord.
    • HP Officejet T series: Press and hold * and 8 while plugging in the power cord.
    • HP PSC 700 series: Press and hold Cancel and the Left Arrow while plugging in the power cord.
  3. While still holding the buttons down, plug the power cord back in. Release the buttons after the all-in-one begins to initialize. After RESET displays and the printer goes back to a ready state, the reset is complete.
  4. Try the print job again to see if this step resolved the issue.

I have had that same problem over years with mine. If you unplug the power supply from the wall outlet (or the 120 power cord from the power supply) and then plug it back in it should all work again. Unplugging it from the back of the printer doesn't help

I have an hp officejet g55. I get an error message c00e0402

Here is a possible cause, outside of this it will likely require service.

System error
C00exxxx (x=any number or letter)
C00fxxxx (x=any number or letter)
1. Verify that all packing material is removed from the product and no paper jams exist.

2. Make sure that the front panel insert is securely in place and that all doors or panels of the product are closed. Unplug the power cord from the HP product, wait 10 seconds, and then plug in the power cord.

3. If the HP product has been in the cold, unplug the power cord and allow it about an hour to reach room temperature. Plug in the power cord.

4. The issue can also occur if the white reference strip for the scanner assembly is missing or dirty. For information on cleaning the scanner strip, go to HP document General Cleaning of an HP All-in-One or Fax Product (bpu01831).

Good Luck
