SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

My wifi turn itself off

Its been said that if you hibernate your PC too long,

when you resume windows your wireless is 'confused'.

Try restarting or hibernating again and resuming immediately after.

Sometimes this works for me, sometimes it doesn't.

Also, if your bluetooth isnt working either, you could have a problem with your wireless.

Check for updates and update BIOS and anything related to your computers wireless assistant, connectivity, etc.

re-install the wlan card driver, just download it again dont bother uninstalling

hope this helps

Hi my wireless connection on advent roma 1000 laptop keeps turning on off

Hi

have you tried all your windows updates this may offer up a newer update for the wireless driver
or
go to computer properties/device manager
scroll down to the wireless driver
double click it and go to the driver tab
try to update the driver from there

if you can please uninstall it
and restart the laptop and hopefully windows will reload the wireless driver correctly for you

if not plug in a ethernet wire from your laptop to your router to make sure you can get online
and click on this link and download and install the wireless driver

Wireless button doesnt work

If the wireless light is amber even if you turn on the wireless light, then follow these steps
1. Go to device manager, Under network adaptor check for the wireless driver eg- Broadcom Wireless LAN Driver or Atheros Wireless LAN Driver, if present then right click and uninstall and choose uninstall then follow step 2, if not present then follow step 2.
2. Search for recovery manager under all programs, click advanced tab - select driver download and click next - choose the driver(ie - boradcom or atheros) - click install - restart the computer.
Then check the wireless light.
3. Do a bios update of the notebook.

4. If still no go then Reseat the wirless card on your notebook.
Situated at the bottom pannel of notebook ,you will find a compartment with a image of tower with signals unscrew that compartment and the carefully remove the wireless card and put it back again and repete the step 2.

My C700 laptop built in keypad doesnt work properly. Other letters generate when i press a certain keypad. For example when i press the letter "m" the number "0" comes out. I suspect the problem started...

open a word processing program and type the word jump, if it types 140* locate and press the function key and numlock key(FN + NUMLOCK) type the word jump again, that should solve the problem.

The light isnt blue when i enable my wireless... even when i go to START/CONTROL PANEL/HP WIRELESS ASSISTANT... when i click to open the HP WIRELESS ASSISTANT, it doesnt go to anything.

The correct driver of the wireless lan was not properly installed or not yet installed, you can download lavalys everest so you can check or you'll be able to know the brand name of your laptop's chip set. Once you know you can download your driver and install.

Medion mim2120 Wireless Problems

I had similar problem with Medion WIN 2140. The harddrive crashed, I bought a new drive and had to reinstall Windows from scratch since I had neither a backup or burned the reinstallation CD's. First I installed Windows7 and every driver/application/BIOS available from Medion's download site. At first my WIFI worked OK but somtime during the process og BIOS/driverupdate my WIFI antenna turned off. The antenna can be turned on/off with a easy access button (touchpad to the right of powerbutton) but WIFI button dows not work.

Medion's danish supporters told me that Windows7 is unsupported. So I had to reinstall using Vista. Still not able to turn on WIFI. I'm pretty sure that BIOS prior to version 1.0K (dated 06.01.2010) had a "ON" possibility but is now limited to "OFF" og "LAST STATE".

Medion support wouldn't og couldn't provide me a previous version of the BIOS. In fact Medion DK's support doesn't seem to know anything about their products.

However I have found the solution myself. Launch Manager application is needed for Easy Access buttons to work. Current version 1.5.0.5 of the application is faulty. In registry i found that pressed keys call the file fn.exe, this file is not a part of the OS, Launch Manager or any other Medion driver/application.

I googled for and found the prevoius version 1.4.9 of Launch Manager. This version works without any problems on both Vista and Windows7.
http://www1.medion.de/downloads/?op=search&lang=au&type=TEXT&Param=

I wrote to Medion support to replace the faulty application on their support site. But with my current Medion experience i daught they will do anything about it. So instead I post this reply to help others.
