Question about Casio Exilim EX-Z57 Digital Camera
I DNT KNOW HOW IT HAPPENED BUT MY CAMERA FELL IN THE SAND AND THE LENS HAS SAND I GUESS AND WHEN I TURN IT ON IT JUST TURNS OFF AND I BOUGHT IT THE INTERNET AND I DONT HAVE INSURANCE FOR IT OR NOTHING IF ANYBODY KNOWS WHERE TO FIX IT PLEASE HELP..AND WAT SUX I BERLY HAD 3 DAYS WITH MY CAMERA AND IT WAS MY FIRST CAMERA TOO...
This is a common problem to digital cameras for those who take it to the beach. The problem was that there could be granules of sand in the lens and thus preventing your lens to come out.
What you need to do is to hold you camera on your right hand, with the lens facing downwards. Then turn the camera on as you gently hit it with your left palm. Do this several times until the sand comes out and your lens could retract out again.
