Motorola I am changing the housing for a motorola V3m. I have to take out the piece in the hinge which attaches to the opposite side of the phone from the flex cable. Take the phone back to your service provider and have them reset the code back to the factory oroginal- usually "0000"- which you can later change.

Volume in earpeice

i work for a cell company and i hear this a lot. try this... while you're in a call use the long button on the side of the phone, turn it up and down to change the volume. if that doesnt work it may either be the phone's ear piece and needs replaced or it just may not be load enough for your taste. moto razrs are in my opinion one of the loudest phones so it shouldnt be hard figuring out whats wrong.

RAZR V3M thinks it's always open - Screen will not turn off

in the top right corner you are suppose to have a little circular magnet that changes the screen when the phone is open or closed. I just changed my housing yesterday and took the magnet out and put it in my new housing but for some reason i have the same problem as you. so maybe you lost the magnet when you replaced the lcd and if that is the case then you are screwed. try have Motorola fix it, don't tell them you replaced the lcd
