You may have solved the problem by now....but it is probably a blockage in the level pressure chamber which is eaither a part of the drain pump manifold or a seperate chamber attached to the bottom of the tub. Its easy to find just follow the small pressure hose from the top of the machine. If its part of the drain manifold its not so easy to clear unless you have a large surringe to pump hot water down the hose to clear it.**** REMEMBER TO UNPLUG THE APPLIANCE FROM THE POWER SUPPLY ******

No current to waterlevel switch. switch is good.

this would be a normal case, the switch is powered only during the fill stage, it is an interrupter.

I have a Sears Kenmore washing machine The water does not stop running on any level and over filled the washer. Sears said it wash the timer so i ordered it, replaced it and it still does not stop...

More likely the water level sensor is faulty or blocked..
As the water level rises, air is pressed through a tube which is connected to the water level control knob. If the control is faulty or the hose is diconnected the machine will fill, and overflow.
Best bet is to call a serviceman and have the waterlevel controller checked.... Not a big job..... Good luck.... Nomess

Waterintake stops after approx. 35 sec.waterlevel is to low, detergent compartement will not open because of low waterlevel and also water will not heat, because heating element is not covered with water....

The machine fills by time only as you have already determined. The intake screen on the water valve is probably plugged up and cleaning it should solve your problem. You will have to turn off the supply to the dishwasher and disconnect the water feed line. Eric

Washer didnt fill when turned on, but filled when holding "reset"

sounds like your water level switch is bad OR the small hose that goes from the waterlevel switch to the bottom of the tank has a hole in it.Try replacing this small hose first.you can go to an auto parts store and match it up.it's usually about 3' long and about 1/4" inside diameter and about 99cents a foot.

Kenmore series 90 washer keeps filling with water and won't stop during to move on to next cycle

If overfills onto the floor , then the waterlevel switch hose came off the switch behind the control panel . You have to remove the 2 side screws and tilt panel to see the hose and switch . If the water keeps filling , but doesn't go on the floor , then you have a syphon problem at your drain . As it fills , water is being sucked out by your drain due to no air able to get in around the drainhose and drainpipe . Pull drain hose out of drain and only insert about 4-5 inches into drain . If hose is tightly in drain , a parts house or home depot should have a syphon break in stock .

My NEC NW 652 washing machine is showing an E9 fault. When i hit the power button the E9 message appears

E9 means the waterlevel sensor is defective or the pipe connected to it is faulty.

  1. could be a latch adjustment-- push gently on the doo when you hear the chatter. could also be something lodged in or near the level switch-located around the waterlevel--check manual

Maytag Performa washer Waterlevel/agitator problem

CHECK your stand pipe hasn't fell over (the one the drain hose goes to when emptying)If not,Either the pressure switch is broke or there is a hole or split in the pressure switch rubber hose. This switch stops the water when it reaches required level.

either your waterlevel switch is bad or the hose from the tub to the switch is leaking air. more info would help..ie do you have to turn the water off at the wall for the water to stop rising or do you just have to push the timer knob in?? let me know, i can definitely help to diagnose!!
