I can't get my itouch to work with my Zoom X6

My itouch says it's connected, but when I punch in the website it keeps coming back as "Safari can't open the page because it can't find the server"
I've tried everything. Can anyone help?? I may have to go with a linksys if I can't fix the problem.

Okay... Its really simple. This worked for me. Click on "Forget this Network." Then go back to "Choose Network" and manually type in the network name (with caps if necessary) and type in your WEP Password. It should give you an new IP address, as well as the Subnet Mask, Router Name, and DNS Address...

Hope this helps!

Thing to check here if you have a valid ip address, on the iTouch go to settings -> wifi -> then if you joined a network u have a lil blue right arrow touch that it should give you the ip address have a look if its a valid one according on your network.
Try to ping it from another machine. have a try with that and report back. We then can check wifi security setting to see if thats what stopping it from working
Hope it helps

Is the Zoom ADSL X6 modem router supposed to provide connectivity for a 3G Kindle? If so, how do I set things up?

Zoom X6 routers don't work with either Kindles or Nooks- it seems the connect on demand to save power confuses the Zoom router - typically requiring the unpractical fix of rebooting the router every two minutes.

I have a Zoom X6 ADSL modem that keeps dropping my internet signal. How can I correct this?

is it wireless connection or ethernet? Zoom routers have a firewall and when you have something connected that the firewall doesnt like (Xbox 360 or Gaming) it will drop the connection. goto zoom.com/x6 and it will give you instruction on how to by-pass the firewall using an different IP address.

DSL Flashing

You dont need both. Do the following:
Unplug your speedtouch from the phone line at the back of the speedtouch unit. Plug that cable into your Zoom. Then plug one end of an ethernet cable into router and one end into your PC. Type http://10.0.0.2 into a web browser (eg. Firefox or Internet explorer) username/password is admin/zoomadsl go to basic setup and input your ISP username and password (the one given to you by your internet provider) under PPP. Click configure my connection. Save changes and then write to flash (both buttons on bottom of page)

Zoom X6 installation

you need a ethernet network card, if you want it connected to the x6 directly, or you can get a wireless card for the desktop.
the instruction for setup the x6 is straight forward. but you need to follow it to the letter, otherwise it won't work.
