I replaced the drum (never did it before) and put it back together and now I get service code F-26-2. Did I blow it up?
Replacing the drum will not fix the F-26-2 code
the L detect will need to be done on the copier to clear this code. it will require developer. never run this adjustment without replacing developer. the 7020 and 7030 series will error out if the developer is replaced and L detect is not done or vice-versa
to fix this replace developer then cut the machine off. hold down the 3 and the 6 button while cutting the machine on, go to (1)voltage adjustment then scroll down through approx 6 or seven adjustments to L detect. make sure all the doors are closed and the copier is ready. hit start, the machine will take about 5 minutes to complete this adjustment, it will display "ok" in the screen when it has successfully completed the adjustment. if it displays 006 pull the developing unit out, and clean the contacts towards the backof the developing unit. sometimes developer droppings can cause this code.
after it has completed L detect now cut the machine off, hold down 2 and the 5 button while cutting it on. go to counter and reset the pm counter.
If you replaced the drum, and didn't reset the drum count, it will cause this error. There are several methods to reset the drum count, but they all do the same thing.
The easiest way is through 36 mode:
Enter the 36 mode. (hold down the 3&6 keys while turning on)
[36 mode menu screen]
Press the [13. Counter clear] key.
[Counter clear screen]
Press the key corresponding to the item to be
cleared.
Message in the message display area will
confirm if you really want to clear the item.
Press the [YES] key. When the item is cleared,
the counter clear screen will be restored.
When clearing another counter, repeat above
steps 3 and 4.
Press the [RETURN] key to return to the 36
mode menu screen.
I need the software to print from my desktop. Anyone out there that can help me?
What happens when u run L-detect. Make sure the sensor near the drum sep claws in the drum unit is clean. Any toner or setting powder on this semsor will give u errors while running L-detect.

Or click on this link for the specific manual.
The error codes you seek are not in the manual, you'll have to call Konica to tell you what they are ... call Konica at (860) 683-2222.
Hope this helps. Rate a fixya!

f-26-3 is a toner density sensor problem. clean the sensor. It probably got dirty when you took the drum out. It senses how much toner to dispense. Lawrence Its on the d.v. assembly by the drum

Usually answered in minutes!
What is the L-detect test? How do I run it?
I never got an answer, but instead I got another question that meant nothing to me.
I ask again, what is L-detect?
