Question about Nintendo DS Lite Console

2 Answers

Nothing happens when i press the right arrow key on my DSI. I opened the back cover slightly, blew out any dust or anything that might have been the issue and then it worked. However, I put the cover back on and it stopped working again (character in game wont move right when right arrow key is pressed). I thought it might have been something to do with how tight the back cover was so i loosened it slightly - still wont work. SOOOOO Annoying!!!! Please help!!

    Hi there

Kindle? Sorry i have no idea what that is! :o) I dont have a problem with the screen being blank. I have a problem with the fact that the right hand arrow key on my Nintendo DSi wont make the character on the screen move to the right.

    Thanks

The right arrow key on my Nintendo DS wont work. When i press it, the character will not move to the right.

I took the cover off and gently blew out any dust etc, it worked for about a minute until i put the screws back in (not too tight) and now its kaput again! Cant use it unless i am playing an entirely touch screen orientated game. So annoying.

Hello there here is somthing that can help you hopefully
Nintendo DS Lite - Sticky Buttons
What you will need:

  • 1 clean, dry toothbrush (no toothpaste on it)

How to clean the buttons:
  1. Turn off the Nintendo DS Lite system. Remove the AC adapter, and any Game Paks.
  2. Turn the system screen-side down.
  3. Using a clean, dry toothbrush, gently and thoroughly scrub the area around the buttons, working the bristles around the sides of the buttons.
  4. Test the system for proper response.
  5. Repeat the process if necessary. If cleaning doesn't solve a sticky button problem, the unit will need to be repaired. We do not advise opening the system or using liquid cleaners at any time.

If none of the steps above solve the problem, your system will need to be repaired.

Nintendo offers convenient repairs, fast turnaround times and, for all systems repaired, a new one-year manufacturer's warranty. To begin the repair process, we will need to gather some information from you.
Please click 'Continue' if you wish to set up an online repair order. We will walk you through the process step by step.

Hi,

What i would like you to do is turn on the kindle so its screen is blank..

Now look around on it for the tiny reste button, it will be in a small hole, and the only way you can hit the reset button is with a paperclip or something small and similar to an unbent paperclip..

Once you find the reset hole, press into it and hold down for about thirty seconds with the power on.. now turn the power off,,

remove the battery, wait about a minute..

And put the battery back in, and press the power button.. Let me know if the screen is still blank or if it is now working!

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

How to change boot order dx4200-ub001a?

To change the boot order, you will want to go into your BIOS. From the HP.com website it shows the following below to enter the BIOS:

BIOS Setup Utility Information and Menu Options

  1. Turn off the computer and wait five seconds.
  2. Turn on the computer and immediately press the F10 key repeatedly until a BIOS Setup screen opens. If nothing happens, press the F1 key repeatedly.
Use the arrow keys to move through the options (Note the commands key list in the lower right of the link I provided to HP.com) You will likely need to enter the advanced area to change your boot order.

Hi,

Try this:
1- Make sure printer is off.
2- Press and hold Red X and Right Arrow key.
3- Switch printer on (Red X and Right Arrow still pressed down)

The goal is to get the printer display a "Printer Settings Init" message. Release the two buttons when you get this message. If nothing happens, try the procedure over again.

My TI 83 plus is not working. when i press"on" nothing happens. I changed my AAA batteries, i even change the back maxwell battery, but nothing happened

TI calculators have an annoying habit of dimming the screen when the batteries are changed so that it appears as if the calculator isn't turning on. Turn the calculator on (or at least press the ON key). Press and release the 2ND key. Press and hold the Up-arrow key for a few seconds and see whether the screen becomes legible.

If this doesn't do it, please reply to this post and we'll go on from there.

If the orange light is blinking, it either means the battery is bad or installed incorrectly. Here is a link to check the installation of the battery..

Logitech mouse problem

I assume there is no second mouse on the system and you are using keyboard commands. Try the following in the device manager..
  1. Press Control-Esc or press the Windows key on your keyboard to bring up the Start menu.
  2. Using the up arrow key, highlight "Settings."
  3. Right arrow key to "Control Panel" and press the enter key.
  4. Use the arrow keys to highlight the System icon and press the Enter key.
  5. Use the right arrow key to select the Device Manager tab. (For Windows XP/2000 , use the right arrow key select the "Hardware" tab. Now use the tab key, select the "Device Manager" button and press the enter key.)
  6. Use the "Tab" key to select the "Computer Icon" at the top of the list of device icons.
  7. Use the down arrow key to highlight the Mouse icon.
  8. Use the right arrow key to open the mouse icon and verify there is a mouse icon that states, "HID-compliant mouse," and another entry that states the name of your USB device.
  9. If there are any errors reported on these icons by exclamation points or red X's, highlight these icons using the arrow keys and "Tab" to the "Remove" button and press the enter key. (For Windows XP/2000 , highlight these icons using the arrow keys and then press Alt-A keys. From the "Action" menu, highlight "Uninstall" and press the enter key.) When the "Confirm Device Removal" box appears, press the enter key.
  10. Once these icons have been removed, use the Tab key to get to the "Refresh" button and allow Windows to re-detect the pointing device. (If u r using Windows XP/2000 , press the Alt-A keys. From the "Action" menu, select "Scan for hardware changes" and press the Enter key.)
  11. Use the arrow keys to open the Mouse icon again and verify that there are no errors reported.
  12. Power down the computer system and restart Windows.
