Question about Linksys Wireless-G WRT54GS Router (e125894)

1 Answer

Wireless connection I am using a lynksys wrt54gs router and it worked fine up until about 1 month ago. I have 2 laptops and both show a good wirless connection but when I try internet explorer no pages will load. Probably something easy but I cannot figure it out. No changes were made to the setup in the house and it happened to both computers at the same time.

You need to go into the wireless router settings, if you cannot see the encryption setting the you need to create a new encryption key and the configure the laptop's wireless card with the new encryption key so it can connect to the wireless router and Internet.

Unable to connect to my wireless network connection (SSID still VISIBLE)

Log on to the router, go to your wireless setup page. Disable wireless, reboot it and when it comes back up, enable wireless once more with a different pre-shared key. You'll need obviously to enter this new key into your laptops. Let me know if this solves the problem.
